St Columba's URC is here to support individuals throughout the various stages of their lives: from births to baptisms, marriages to deaths... and more.
Whether for an adult or infant, baptism is a significant step in a person's faith journey. It is commitment by - or on behalf of - a person to offer their lives for God's mission. These ceremonies usually take place within a church service. Contact us if interested in getting baptised - or having your child baptised - in our church.

The "Big Day" is a very special occasion, where two people are taking the significant step to commit their lives to each other. It should be a joyous event that creates a lasting memory. We want to help you have the best day possible. Our church building and minister can - dates dependent - be made available for such ceremonies, as can an organist. And, if you are looking for a small, intimate venue at the centre of Oxford for your reception then our hall can be hired out. We will do what we can to meet your requests: just ask! NOTE: We are registered for same-sex weddings.
A funeral marks the end of a person's life and also a celebration of it. Our church building and minister can - dates dependent - be made available for such services, as can an organist, and we can help design the ceremony with you.
