St Columba's is part of the United Reformed Church and is based in the heart of Oxford city centre. Having had presence in the city for over a century, it has served the local community, students and visitors alike through an approach that is reformed and continuing to reform. The church is progressive in theology and aims to welcome all. 


Sundays @ 10:45am in church: Sunday Worship - a service for all.  Communion is usually on the second Sunday of the month.

Every first Sunday of the month @ 7:15pm in church: First Sunday - LGBTQ+ fellowship. 

Wednesdays @ 10:30am in church: Wednesday
Welcome - a drop-in café run with the charity Archway.

Oxford Winter Night Shelter
St Columba's is one of seven city centre churches participating in OWNS. Volunteers are needed (see below) as are donations (click here).

OWNS is a project being run by Oxford churches, including our own John Fresen to offer emergency night shelter accommodation for the homeless in Oxford this winter. It is being run over seven nights a week, from January 2018 through to March. Volunteers are needed! All volunteers will need to attend one of the OWNS training sessions and will need provide a suitable reference. Training dates and venues are:
  • 14 Nov, 7-10pm, St Michael at the North Gate, Cornmarket, OX1 3EY
  • 22 Nov, 7-10pm, St Michael at the North Gate, Cornmarket, OX1 3EY
  • 25 Nov, 9am-12pm, St Clement's Family Centre, Cross Street, OX4 1DA
