A Christian church in the heart of Oxford
St Columba's United Reformed Church (URC) is in the
heart of Oxford. It is a vibrant and forward-thinking church with a determination to live out the Gospel in practical ways. The church has Presbyterian roots and
a Celtic feel, while also drawing on the wider traditions of the whole ecumenical Church. The congregation is praying to be inclusive
, celebrating diversity and offering a warm and welcoming fellowship.
St Columba's is a home for people who are on the fringes of the church, as well as for those who have always belonged. It is firmly in the mainstream, but always ready for new ideas and challenges.
The Reverend Carla A. Grosch-Miller is the Minister at St Columba's.
Cumnor URC is St Columba's sister church.
Our master diary is now online for use by current and prospective hirers, as well as members and friends of the church.
In January 2011, St Columba's decided to try and raise £93,000 to install a new heating system. We have almost made it and the new heating is almost completely installed. You can follow our progress and donate online. This will help us to pay back some of the generous loans we have from members
