vision

The people of St Columba's URC come from both the city of Oxford and the surrounding area. It's a bit like a wheel. The Sunday service provides a hub when the community comes together to share worship. This is the highpoint of our life together. The hub holds together all the spokes - all the activities that the church and its members are involved in. These spokes are key parts of the church's life, and through them the church engages with the 'world' and the world with the church.

the hub

Worship takes place every week. The Elders meet regularly to pray and to plan for the life of the congregation. The Church Meeting (all members and friends are encouraged to come) assembles at least four times a year to seek God's will.
