St Columba's United Reformed Church is on Alfred Street, just off of 'the High' in the centre of Oxford.

Trades vans
There is no free access to Alfred Street via High Street from the direction of The Plain between 9am and 6:30pm.
Access is not brilliant. We think the best access route is via St Aldates turning into High Street. Turn right down Alfred Street (just before the restricted zone). Alfred Street is very narrow and busy with trades vehicles during office hours. If you are able to mount the kerb a little it may help other vehicles. We are open to any better suggestions or insights if you have them.
Alternatively you may be able to turn right off St Aldates on to Blue Boar Street, drive up there and then reverse up Alfred Street. Please be aware that trades vans tend to use Alfred Street for entering and Blue Boar Street for exiting, so you could get stuck going that way.
On foot
If you are coming on foot, walk from Carfax down the High Street and take the turn on the right just before the NatWest bank and opposite The Mitre pub. We are about 20 metres down Alfred Street, on the right. The church has a modern front with glass doors.
With a car
If you have a car, parking spaces (for up to two hours) can be found on streets nearby or (for longer) in the various city centre car parks. Please note that you cannot drive along the High Street until after 6:30pm.
If you are coming from outside the ring road, the Park and Ride is recommended. On Sundays only, the church has the use of a few spaces in the car park of Corpus Christi college. To find this you need to drive up the High from the Plain and turn left into Merton Lane (just outside the restricted zone). Drive the length of the lane and the Corpus Christi College car park is on the left, just before the back gate to Christ Church.
