A half-hour of quiet worship with Taizé chants, scripture and prayer.


Time: 7:30pm 8:00pm.

Date: Every Third Sunday.

Place: In the Sanctuary at St Columba's URC.

The Taizé Community is an ecumenical monastic order in the village of Taizé, Burgundy, France. The community now has more than one hundred brothers, who come from all around the world. Every year, the brothers are joined for a week, or sometimes more, by thousands of young people, who come to share in their unique worship and community life. Prayer here is held three times a day, and consists of Bible readings, intercessions, and chants, in many different languages. You can find out more about life at Taizé at
